Dr Ally Windsor

 

In her late-20s, Ally Windsor is an independent individual who takes orders from no one. Brash, unpredictable and highly intelligent, it comes as no surprise that she’s an enemy of authority, often giving all those associated with her headaches to remember. Carefree yet mysterious, she has an annoying habit of keeping her unique strategies to herself. In fact, you won’t know what she’s planning until she’s already done it. Ally is known for her one-tracked mind. It takes a certain type of person to cope with her way of thinking and unless that person is as strong and independent as she is, they’re likely to get dragged down by her. Despite her reckless and rebellious nature, however, she is oddly enduring with a big heart and a cheeky sense of humour.

The daughter of an ex-Army officer, Ally has an IQ of nearly 150 and a PhD in forensic psychology. She started her career as a South Australian state police detective in the Major Crime Investigations Unit. But her insistence to do things her way forced her to move into the private sector where she now quite often acts as a personal investigator to her ex-boss and close friend, Helen. Ally is married to Steve, a barrister with the Department of Public Prosecutions
